Kenneth D. Mehlhope

MEHLHOPE, Kenneth D., of Mainville passed away Wednesday January 12, 2011 at the age of 85. Beloved husband for 61 years to Rita Mehlhope. Loving father of Carl Mehlhope (Megan), Brad Mehlhope (Pam), Paige Mehlhope and the late Michael Mehlhope. Affectionate grandfather of Kaitlin, Kelly, Matt, David and Mark. Mr. Mehlhope was a WWII Navy veteran, and a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He worked at Cincinnati Milacron in the US and Europe and was an engineering consultant to the United States Air Force. He very much enjoyed watching and supporting his kids in their sporting and equestrian events. He loved his race horses and miniature horses and all his animals. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Warren County Animal Shelter 230 Cook Road Lebanon, OH 45036. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 till 3PM Saturday January 15th at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory, Milford.
