Dear grandfather of Joseph, Kyle, Haley, Cassie, Lane, Kallee, Sydney, Kegan, Micah and Brian. Caring brother of Sharon Temple of Mt. Orab, Ohio; J.B. Proffitt of Hamersville, Ohio; Diane Burnett of Feesburg, Ohio; Paul Proffitt of Williamsburg, Ohio; Goldie Chandler of Felicity, Ohio; Donna Colyer of Felicity, Ohio; David Proffitt of Bethel, Ohio and Danny Proffitt of Hamersville, Ohio. Preceeded in death by his brother Thomas Proffitt. Mr. Proffitt was a mechanic in the automotive industry and was a U.S. Army Veterian. Passed Friday, May 30, 2008 at the age of 60. Visitation will be on Monday, June 2, 2008 6PM - 8PM at the Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 11AM with interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
