Larry Clinton Stapleton

Larry Clinton Stapleton of Mt. Orab, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the age of 75. He was born to Eugene and Easie Mae Stapleton on September 9, 1949, in Carter County, Kentucky.

Larry is survived by his siblings: Connie Sue Justice, Sheila Ann Moore, Connie Lee Burke, Auddry Jean Stapleton, Ronnie Stapleton, Everett Stapleton, and Donna Stapleton; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (née York) Stapleton; his son, James Clinton Stapleton; and three siblings; Norman Wheeler Stapleton, Lonnie Stapleton, and John Stapleton.

Larry served in the US Marines and the US Army. He was the owner/operator of P&S Construction as well as a member of F&AM New Harmony Lodge 435.

A private Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
