Laurence Willis Dickerson

Laurence Willis Dickerson passed away on Wednesday, October 12th, 2016. He was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia on October 11th, 1924, the son of Laurence M. and Arline (Eubank) Dickerson. He attended the College of William & Mary before enlisting in the Navy and transferring to the University of Richmond. He taught school for a time in Marshall, North Carolina before going to work for the Clinchfield R.R. On August 25th, 1973, he married Patricia Perry who passed away September 26th, 2015. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marianna D. Minter and brother, Charlesworth. He is survived by nephews Laurence E. and Bruce (Amy) Dickerson and their children Katie and Andrew; niece, Meredith (Jim) Dixon, brother-in-law, Robert Perry and by dear friends Lucinda and Davis Chandler. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am with Memorial service to be held at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 100 Miami Avenue, Terrace Park, Ohio on Saturday, October 22, with a reception following the service. Private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, Larry requested donations to the Cincinnati Nature Center, 4949 Tealtown Rd, Milford, OH 45150 or the Clermont Philharmonic Orchestra at CPO % Clermont County Educational Offices, 2400 Clermont Center Dr, Suite 100, Room ET-211, Batavia, OH 45103
