Lazette L. Wolf

Mrs. Lazette Wolf of Milford, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 in her 97th year. Born in Alabama on September 21, 1921, the first of eight children, Mrs. Wolf came to the Cincinnati area in 1930. She saw a classroom for the first time in her life having been home schooled on her grandfather's strawberry plantation. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1939 and came to Milford in 1941 as a new bride.
Mrs. Wolf was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ann Voline, her husband of 54 years, Joe Wolf, her brothers, Jim and Elmer, her sisters Elizabeth, Joyce, Virginia and Charlene, her nieces Marie and Roberta, her special friend and former classmate, Jack, and her son-in-law, Ron.
Lazette will be missed by her 3 daughters, Lynn of Prospect, KY, Janette of Hollywood, FL and Nancy of Brandon, FL. Jake and Dylan will miss their Umm dearly as will their mother, Tracy and sister, Olivia. Her many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews and their families will also miss Aunt Lazette. She has been the matriarch of her family for over 3 generations.
Lazette's daughters wish to thank their mother's friends and good neighbors for helping her remain in her home to the end - Lazette's most fervent wish. People who were always there when she needed a helping hand, company or a willing ear, including Nancy, Joyce, Sharon, Mitch, Jean, Mark, Patty and Oneal. Lazette always had a story to entertain and fascinate. This was why she was a favorite of her caregivers in the last several years. She had seen much in her long life on this earth and had many great stories to convey.
Services will begin at 11:30 am at Milford First Methodist Church at 541 Main Street in Milford. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 am to time of service and again during lunch. Interment at 1:30 pm in Greenlawn Cemetary next to her beloved husband, Joe, with whom she has finally been reunited.
