Leah M Satzger

Leah M. (nee' Sheerwood) Satzger, age 99, passed away surrounded by her family on August 15, 2018. Leah was the loving mother of her two daughters, Eileen Gronberg and Leah A. Satzger, and will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Margaret Sheerwood, her husband, Russell Satzger, two brothers, Lou and Samuel Sheerwood, a sister, Edna Miller, and her son-in-law, Don Gronberg. Ms. Satzger was a longtime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Milford, Ohio, and drove a school bus for the district for 30 plus years. She loved farming with her husband. People would come from other states to pick up some of their produce. Leah also loved painting, cooking, sewing and canning. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 5767 Wolfpen-Pleasant Hill Rd., Milford, OH 45150, where family and friends will be received from 10 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions be directed to Grace Hospice, 4850 Smith Rd., Suite 100C, Cincinnati, OH 45215, or to the Trinity United Methodist Church.
