Lela Geradine Davenport

Lela Geraldine Davenport of Eastgate, Ohio, formerly of Lewis County, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in Ripley, Ohio at the age of 90. She was born in Bath County, Kentucky on September 7, 1931 to Clarence and Elizabeth Thomas. Lela is survived by her daughter: Sharon (Michael) Conley of Eastgate, OH; her grandchildren: Sarah (Jay) Hodges of Eastgate, OH, Susan Conley of Eastgate, OH and Rebecca Davenport of Lexington, KY; her great-grandchildren: Zachary Hodges and Nicholas Hodges; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Davenport of Somerset, KY. Along with her parents, Lela was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Davenport; her son, Ricky Davenport ; and her sister, Betty Crane. Lela was a member of Glen Este Church of Christ and a past member of Concord Christian Church. Funeral service will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Megie Funeral Home & Crematory - Craver Chapel (formerly Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory), 529 Main Street, Milford, OH 45150. Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memories, Mason County, KY. Jack Horton officiating the service.
