Louis E Christman

Louis E. Christman, age 91, passed away peaceful on August 12, 2010. Louis retired from the Ford Motor Co. after many years of service, and was a successful horse trainer at River Downs for 50 years. He not only raised horses but also loved and raised exotic animals. He also enjoyed woodworking and loved scouring the Cincinnati area for antique furniture to restore. Nothing thrilled him more than a good deal, and buying and trading those finds was a passion. A White Castle, a road trip and his best friend Sam the dog, kept him going for the last two years. Louis was the devoted husband of the late Dorothy Christman, loving father of Gayle Christman, Dianne Harden, Jo Ann Hughes and the late Raymond Christman, and a proud grandfather and great grandfather. Friends and family are welcome Monday, August 16th, 10:00 am, until time of service 11:30 am at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford.
