Louise Fugate

Louise (nee' Short) Fugate, age 86, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 13, 2018. She was the loving mother of Larry, Harold (Regina), Clarence and Marty Fugate, cherished sister of Cleda Robertson and Mildred Caudill, and dear step grandmother of Rachael Gardner. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Ms. Fugate was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Alice Short, her husband, Martin Fugate Jr., her daughter, Mary Alice Fugate and 6 siblings, Willard Short, Stella Short, Dora Haddix, Sindy Fields, Henry Short and Andy Short. Louise was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher at the Afton Wesleyan Church and in her later years attended the Mulberry Wesleyan Church. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Mulberry Community Wesleyan Church, 949 St. Rt. 28, Milford, Ohio 45150 at 12 Noon, where family and friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. If desired, family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the church.
