Lynn Dustin-Glover, born on November 10, 1933, in Whittier, California, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, in Mt. Orab, Ohio, at the age of 91. A remarkable woman, Lynn was known for her vibrant creativity, warmth, and numerous contributions to her community and family.
Throughout her life, Lynn showcased her artistic talents as the Owner and Operator of White Dove Designs, where she excelled as a painter and jewelry designer. Her remarkable eye for beauty drew many to her creations, reflecting her passion and dedication to her craft. In addition to her work at White Dove Designs, Lynn was a model for Beeline Clothing in Seattle, Washington, where she was able to express her creativity in yet another form.
Education was a significant aspect of Lynn's life; she made history by becoming the youngest person to attend Whittier College, setting an example of perseverance and ambition for her family and friends. Her dedication to learning and self-improvement never waned.
Lynn's service to her country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Air Force exemplified her commitment to duty and her willingness to serve. Many will remember her stories of that time in her life with admiration and respect.
Faith was also a cornerstone of Lynn's life. She was a cherished member of Crosspoint Wesleyan Church but also attended services at Mt. Orab United Methodist Church, reflecting her devotion and active participation in her spiritual community. She served as Regional President of the Christian Women’s Association in the 1970s.
Lynn is survived by her beloved children: Kevin Dustin of Billings, Montana; Daneen Dustin of Kendrick, Idaho; Sharilyn (Elyse Glover) Dustin of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Bruce Glover of Salisbury, Maryland and Teresa Turner of Brandon, Georgia. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Taralyn, Jennifer Lynn, James, Daniel, Christopher, Matthew, and Jason, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. They all carry forth her spirit of creativity and love.
She is also survived by her sister, Lucille Enger of Helendale, California, who shared in the laughter and joys of their lives together.
Lynn was preceded in death by her first husband, Clinton Dustin Jr.; her second husband, Joseph K. Glover; her son, Mark Dustin; her parents, Frederick and Carolyn Brock; and her brothers: Art and James Brock. Their memories remain forever etched in the hearts of those who loved her.
As we honor Lynn Dustin-Glover’s life, we celebrate her extraordinary journey filled with creativity, love, and family. Her presence will be deeply missed but her spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire all who knew her.
Graveside service 1 PM Friday, September 26, 2025, at Mt. Orab Cemetery, Mt. Orab, Ohio.
