Mabel Ruth Barnes

Mabel Ruth Barnes entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on August 9, 1952, to Howard and Helen (née Mallott) Barnes of Caldwell, Ohio.

Ruth was a 1971 graduate of Caldwell High School (Noble County). She was a member of the Crum Ridge Church of Christ. Most recently she was a resident of Bastin Group Homes, Bethel, Ohio where she enjoyed going to the Day Center. She loved going on outings, out to eat, celebrating holidays, writing greeting cards and looking at cookbooks.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Stan Warman.

Ruth is survived by her sister, Joyce Warman, her nephew, Kevin (Jennifer) Warman, and their children, Lucas and Emma Warman, all of Mt. Orab, Ohio.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Eastern Cemetery, 48700 Batesville Road, Summerfield, Ohio 43788.
