Marcella D. Comberger

Marcella D. Comberger born March 13, 1945 to the late Wilbur and Hattie Shuemake. Lifetime resident of Williamsburg, Ohio. Passed on January 24, 2022 surrounded by family. Mrs. Comberger is survived by her husband, James F. Comberger, of 57 years; one son, Dallas (Alice) Comberger; two daughters, Pamela Fraley and Brittany Comberger; two sons-in-law, David Prine and Rick Grubbs. Preceded in death by one son, Darrin Comberger and three daughters, Karen Prine, Marcy Comberger, and Melissa Grubbs. Survived by eleven grandchildren: Stacy (Andy) Watkins, Amber (Mike) Childress, Kasey Fraley-Thompson (Brandon), Stephanie (Allen) Fiess, Dustin (Rhandi) Coyne, DJ (Cydney) Grubbs, Brian (Mariah) Grubbs, Derick Minnie, Bridget Comberger, America Comberger and Marilyn Pennington. Preceded in death by four grandsons: Aaron Comberger, Nathan Comberger, Braxton Grubbs, and Jason Comberger. Survived by twelve great-grandchildren: Mason, Sofia, Devon, Micheal, Sabrina, Faithlynn, Aubrey, Meleea, Melechi, Melena, Liberty and Chase. Marcella is survived by one sister, Daisy Minnie, and several nieces and nephews. The Combergers' house was “the place to be” and Marcella always treated her kids/grandkids' friends as one of her own, so she is also survived by several “chosen grandkids”. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154. Visitation will be held the evening before on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will follow the funeral service at Williamsburg Cemetery.
