Margaret Mae (nee Shively), Schmidt, 91, long time resident of Camp Dennison, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2013 at her home with the love of her family around her. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles A. Schmidt, loving sister of Juanita (Eugene) Tingley, beloved mother of Cheryl (the late James) Hilen, Bonnie (the late Winston) Cham-A-Koon, Charles (Diane) Schmidt, Stephen (Nanci) Schmidt, Linda (Alan) Schockman, Holly (Robert) Vilsack, David Schmidt and proud grandmother of Jennifer, Julia, Katherine, Brian, Kerstin, Warren, John-Michael, Emily, Benjamin, Rebecca, Nicholas, Pamela, Kristal, Bradley, Adam, Kevin, Allison, Kyle, Evan, Kyle, Amelia, and Lillian, and great grandmother of Benjamin, Zachery, Trevor, Conner, Charlie Ann, Maggie, Samuel, Kacey, Georgia, Logan, Sydney and the late Augustus. Margaret enjoyed reading, sewing and square dancing, loved old westerns and was the �pancake maker extraordinaire�. She held herself proud with a quiet strength, had a strong work ethic, wasn�t judgmental and everyone who entered her house, felt like they were at home and not just a visitor. Friends and family are welcome 6-8 pm, Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford, with funeral service, 12 pm, Wednesday, at Camp Dennison United Methodist Church.
