Martha L. Healy

Healy, Martha L., March 11, 1923-December 20, 2014. Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Martha passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 20th. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Patrick B. Healy and her grandson David Hummel. She is survived by her children; Jack (Carol Lynn) Healy, Corliss (Jerry) Wald and Carol (Jerry) Hummel. She is also survived by her grandchildren Erin (Chad) Wilson, Chris Murphy, Patrick (Yasmin) Healy and Nick Burdett. She was the proud great grandmother of Xavier and Gideon Wilson and Joey Burdett and was very much looking forward to welcoming a new great grandchild with Patrick and Yasmin. Martha was a warm, caring, generous person who was devoted to her family and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will always be loved and greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children�s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950. Visitation will be held at Old Armstrong Chapel at the corner of Drake and Indian Hill Rd. Tuesday December 30th, 2014 from 10 till 11AM. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation. Interment at Old Armstrong Chapel Cemetery.
