Marty List

Marty List, born on September 14, 1942, in Mason County, Kentucky, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Seaman, Ohio. He was a man who cherished the outdoors and found joy in fishing and hunting.

Marty will be remembered for his love of nature and the peaceful times he spent in the great outdoors. These hobbies were an important part of his life and brought him much happiness.

Marty is survived by his nephews: David K. Berry of Russellville, Ohio, and Daniel W. (Karla) Berry of Union, Kentucky; his niece, Edith (Bill) Bowman of Patrick Springs, Virginia; as well as his good friend, Lonnie Dunseith. He is also survived by additional cousins, other family members, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dora List, and his sister, Barbara Berry.

A graveside service to honor Marty will be held at 11:00 AM on March 20, 2026, at Maplewood Cemetery, located at 700 Catherine St, Ripley, Ohio, 45167.

Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Hope.

Marty was a character in every sense of the word and will not soon be forgotten. His distinctive laugh will also be long remembered by all that knew him.
