Mary Ellen Coleman

Mary Ellen Coleman of Blanchester, Ohio died peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at home surrounded by her loved ones, she was 84.  Mary Ellen was born April 23, 1936 in Owensville, Ohio to the late Lawrence Henry and Emma Elizabeth (nee Davis) Brothers.

She is survived by her four daughters: Melinda Catron, Karen (Mark) Wells, Jeanette (Scott) Simpson, and Viola (Dan) Rice.  She also had 18 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Coleman; and siblings Dorothea Dorsey, Eugene Brothers, Harold Brothers, Agnes Bauer, Marian Kopp, Norbert Brothers, and Virgina Keim-Stephens.

She was a true, all American hard-working woman who had a strong faith and love for the Lord.  Heaven acquired a fantastic woman today and will be missed by many.

She was a Secretary for Fayetteville-Perry High School for 41 years.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:30am at St. Angela-Merici Church located at 130 Stone Alley, Fayetteville, OH 45118. Burial will be at the St. Patrick Cemetery immediately after services.   Father Tom Bolte officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
