Jane and Dan moved often throughout their lives, but they always maintained strong friendships and a deep seated foundation of love and support for their children. She was an incredible cook and baker. Jane was a loving and caring person who spent her life caring for others. She taught her daughters the pleasure of motherhood and was an incredible role model for her loved ones. Jane never spent a day without helping someone. She made friends with everyone she met and displayed unrelenting passion for animals in need of care. She was a volunteer and a strong supporter of a variety of animal rescue groups, in particular the Humane Society. Jane will be dearly missed by her many countless friends and neighbors. She will be buried in the mountains of Franklin, North Carolina, next to her beloved husband Dan, at a date to be determined.
