Mary Jane Schick

Mary Jane Schick, a devoted homemaker and beloved member of her family, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, in Hamersville, Ohio. Born on May 30, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Jane lived a life marked by love, dedication, and joyful engagement with those around her.

Mary Jane’s life was richly centered around her family, which she cherished deeply. Her home was a place of warmth and comfort where her husband of 51 years, Frank Schick, stood steadfastly by her side. Together, they raised a loving family that includes their children: Frank (Mariah) Schick Jr., Shawn (Jennifer) Schick, Marianne (Rob) Everman, Sara (Caleb Brockman) Schick, Haylie Crank, and Paul Crank. Mary Jane also took immense pride in her grandchildren: Christopher, Trinity, Jesse James, Justine, Scott, and Caroline “Big Red,” as well as her great-grandchild, Harper. Family was truly the heart of her existence, a source of joy and the center of her world.

She is also survived by her siblings: Della Sowers, Ann Crank, and Johnny Crank. Mary Jane also endured the loss of her parents, Bill and Ethel Crank, and several siblings: Bill, Donald Ray, Gillis, Peggy Sue, Brenda, Jimmy, and Matt Crank. Memories of her and those of her dear family members who have passed will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Mary Jane loved to play Bingo at the Georgetown VFW. This simple pleasure was one of many ways she found happiness and community throughout her life.

Her passing marks the end of a life devoted to her family, and the simple joys that brought her peace and contentment. Mary Jane Schick leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and heartfelt connection to those fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing to her family, friends, and all who held her dear.

A Celebration of Life will be schedules at a later date.
