Melvin A Cox

Melvin A. Cox of Seaman, OH passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the age of 76.  He was born to the late Floydd and Minnie (nee Jackson) Cox on June 2, 1942.

Melvin is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Jean (nee Stewart); his caring children: Darrell L. Cox of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Rob (Mary) Cox of Blue Ash, OH, Donna (Slade) Siders of Winchester, OH, Leeann (Ella) Sibert of Peebles, OH, and Kimberly (Todd) Smith of Mt. Orab, OH; his adored grandchildren: Whitney, Madison, Elijah, Shannon, Lexie, Hunter, Ryder and Peyton; his cherished great grandchildren: Ashlin, Greyson, Quentin, Henry, and Wyatt; his brother, Bruce Cox of Mt. Orab, OH, along with two nieces and one nephew.

In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky Bushong, and his sister-in-law, Linda Cox.

Melvin served in the US Army and was retired from Ford Motor Company.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Megie Funeral Home, located at 104 Spice St., Mt. Orab, OH 45154, family and friends will be received beginning at 11:00 am until the time of service.  Interment will follow the service at Saunders Cemetery in Scott Township.
