Michael P. Holden of Fayetteville, Ohio fell into his eternal sleep on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the age of 69. He was born December 18, 1951 in Mariemont, Ohio to the late Louis and Ruth (nee Sorg) Holden. Michael is survived by his loving children Christel G. (Greg) Boothby of Mt. Orab, Ohio, and Michael “Tony” (Shellie) Holden of Anderson, Ohio; his adored grandchildren Courtney Holden of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Zach (Ellie) Kirker of Japan, Austin Kirker of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Hunter Boothby of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Peyton Holden of Anderson, Ohio, and Audrey Holden of Anderson, Ohio; his cherished great grandkids Sophie Hyaitt of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Audrey Kirker of Japan; and his caring siblings Louie Holden Jr. of Marathon, Ohio, Frank Holden of Fayetteville, Ohio, Nick Holden of Fayetteville, Ohio, Pete Holden of Chasetown, Ohio, Louise Roades of Vera Cruz, Ohio; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. In addition to his parents Michael is preceded in death by his siblings Chris Holden, and Angie Waits. Michael was a member of the St. Angela Merici Parish Church in Fayetteville, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and run until the time of service. Father Tom Bolte officiating. Burial will follow at The Holy Ghost Cemetery in Vera Cruz, Ohio.
