Mildred H. Henderson, long time resident of Milford, passed away peacefully in her 88th year. She was the devoted wife of the late Hugh Henderson, cherished mother of Corliss (Harry) Kendrick, Sibyl (Thomas) White, and Betty (Al) Cernohous, proud grandmother of Robert Kendrick, Carolyn Kendrick-Alcantara, Amanda Wonnacott, Adrienne White, Laura Williamson and Bryan Biazzo, and great grandmother of Tyler and Braeden Kendrick, Taiya, Devon and Hudson Wonnacott, and the late Hayden Wonnacott. She will also be deeply missed by other family and a multitude of friends. Mildred loved playing bridge and doing needlepoint. She also lived overseas in several exotic countries, and traveled extensively. Her most memorable trip was spending time in Africa in October of 1988, studying and observing the great Silverback Gorillas near Rwandan, which made a lasting impression on her. Friends and family are welcome 10:00 am, Thursday, May 9th, until time of Memorial service, 11:00 am, all at Milford First United Methodist Church. A reception will follow, also at the church. If desired, memorials in memory of Mildred may be directed to the Milford First United Methodist Church, 541 Main St, Milford, 45150
