Myrtle Ann Barker

Myrtle Ann Barker was born in Beckley, WV to the late Walt and Polly Hackney. Myrtle passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was 80 years old.

Myrtle was the beloved wife of the late Vernon C. Barker; loving mom of Cynthia (Jason Williams) Stanley and the late Richard Barker Sr.; proud Mamaw of: Richard Allen Barker Jr., Crystal Barker, Desiree Barker, Elizabeth (Brendan) Wilkin, Aaron (Christina Lasley) Stanley, and her great-grandchildren: Izabelle Lingar, Tabitha Lingar, Kaylynn Lingar, Bradley Lingar, Nicholas Lingar, Brandon Lingar, Miles Barker, Ayden Music, Layne Wilkin, Savannah Wilkin, Phoenix Stanley, Bryson Lasley, & Dakota Stanley, and dear sister of 13 brothers and sisters.

Myrtle was a feisty lady, full of life. Her family was everything to her. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and loved flowers. She wasn’t one to be trifled with.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 6-8 PM at Megie Funeral Home & Crematory, 529 Main St. Milford, Ohio 45150, where Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 12 NOON.

Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Orab Cemetery, Mt. Orab, Ohio.
