Nancy Gerard Ricketts, age 89 passed away peacefully Sunday, November 1, 2015. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Suzi) Ricketts, Ritt (Kathy) Ricketts, and Nancy �Nip� (Jim) Becker. She cherished her grandchildren Alexander, Robert, Elizabeth, Turpin and Samantha. She is also survived by her Sister, Mary Gerard Cone, nieces Geri and Midge, and nephew Stephen. Nancy was born on December 27, 1925. She grew up in Terrace Park, Ohio. She was active at St. Thomas Episcopal Church where she sang in the choir and was a soloist for many weddings. Her fondest childhood memories are the 11 summers she spent at Chippewa Trail Girl�s Camp on Elk Lake, Michigan. While there, she rode horses, canoed and was Song Leader. She became a counselor and taught horseback riding. Nancy received a scholarship to study voice at The College of Music at Music Hall in 1944. She was active in The Junior League of Cincinnati. Her favorite assignment was Puppets with Larry Smith. She was Ivan in the production of �Peter and the Wolf� and was Jack in �Jack in the Bean Stalk�. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 100 Miami Ave, Terrace Park, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263
