Ola "Dixie" Blair

Ola “Dixie” Blair of Jefferson, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the age of 95. She was born on January 9, 1927, in Grassy Creek, North Carolina to the late John and Ruby Dickson.

Dixie was the beloved mother of: Bonnie (David) Sirk of Cincinnati, OH, Martin A. (Michele) Blair of Waterford, MI, Thomas Blair of Palm Bay, FL, and Gary (Leslie) Blair of Rochester Hills, MI; and loving grandmother of ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, J. Thomas Blair; a son, Steven Blair; five sisters and one brother.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Boone Family Funeral Home, 2005 Mt. Jefferson Rd., W. Jefferson, NC 28694, where friends and family will be received from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial Jefferson City Cemetery, Jefferson, NC.
