Oleta Mccabe

Oleta R. McCabe, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was the cherished daughter of the late John and Margaret Nugent, loving mother of Philip (Julie) McCabe, Rebecca McCabe, John (Susan Hauff) McCabe and the late Melinda McCabe, dear sister of John (Julie) Nugent, Cynthia Epperhart, Marty (Julie) Nugent, & Julie (Robert) Pier, and cherished cousin "sister" of Carol Crist. Ms. McCabe will also be greatly missed by her precious dog, Molly, grand-dog Tika, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. She proudly worked in her family's business, McCabe's Market, was very involved in the Madeira PTA and local schools, and helped to set-up/open several Walmart stores, including the one here in Milford, where she served as Assistant Manager for many years. Her love for "crafting", including knitting, painting, cake decorating, creative writing and cooking, to name just a few, was something she enjoyed immensely. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Craver Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, Ohio 45150.
