Pamela J. Norton

Pamela J. Norton, 63, of Milford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Born on December 14, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Pam lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and a deep love for those around her. For 42 years, she dedicated herself to managing convenience and restaurant stores, most recently at Circle K on Route 28, where she formed lasting bonds with her coworkers and cherished her “regulars” who became like family. She approached her work with unmatched dedication, always going above and beyond. Pam was proud to say her “give-a-damn button wasn’t broke,” because she truly cared about her work, her customers, and the people she worked alongside.

Outside of work, Pam found her greatest joy in being with her loved ones. She was a proud and devoted mother to her son and daughter, always saying they were her life’s greatest achievement. She adored her five grandchildren and was happiest making memories with them. She also enjoyed baking treats, trying new recipes, and watching MeTV and law shows. Pam looked forward to her weekly Rolling Cash 5 and lotto tickets. Known for her open heart, she was “Mama” to many — having “many sons and daughters from another mother” — and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

This past year, she faced health struggles with remarkable strength, courage, and optimism. Even on difficult days, she met life with grace, a touch of humor, and the determination to reassure those around her “I’m not okay, but it’s all gonna be alright.” She wanted her loved ones to carry on her memory by staying kind, helping others, and not being sad over “little ol’ me.” As she would say: Spread good karma and eat the cheesecake!

Pam is survived by her daughter, Amber (Eric) Byington; her son, Terry Norton; and her grandchildren, Alaynna, Blake, Chase, Easton, and Faith Byington. She is also survived by her sisters, Lois Braunagel and Amy Braunagel, and her brother, George (Skip) Braunagel. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dolores “Dolly” Braunagel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society in her honor.

Pam’s presence will be deeply missed, but the love, sarcasm, laughter, and lessons she shared will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
