Parthenia "Jean" Gordon

Parthenia “Jean” Gordon of Milford, OH passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Warren and Violet Lake in 1944.

Jean was the loving, caring mother of: Melissa Combs of Red fox, KY, Jolene (Jim) Kendall of Midland, TX, Rae Lewis of Cincinnati, OH, and Rhonda Lewis of Florida; proud Grandma of: Brandon Combs, Dustin Combs, Dennicko Lewis, Demmicko Lewis, Jessica Gaskins, Andrew Lewis, Tony Lewis, and 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren; loving aunt of Chastity (Anthony) Ballard, Warren Lake, Sheila Lake, Theresa Lake, Donnie Lake, and Frankie Covington; step-mother of Melissa Adams Gordon of Cincinnati, OH, and step-grandmother of Julian, Crowe (Jahan) and Djaka.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Gordon and her dear siblings Carol Fossitt, Don Lake, and Jim Creutz.

Jean loved celebrating birthdays and holidays with family gatherings and always being silly.

Funeral Services will be held at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH 45150, on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 8:00 PM, where family and friends will be received from 6:00 PM until the hour of service.

A Graveside Service will take place at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 1 PM.

Mark Julifs will be officiating.
