Patricia "Pat" June Murray

Patricia “Pat” J. Murray of Milford, Ohio, passed away on September 8, 2024, just a few days before her 98th birthday. She was born in Fareham, England to the late Frank and Winifred Kelly in 1926.

Pat was the beloved wife of the late Claude F. Murray, loving mother of Sandra Clements and Melissa (Stephen) McGrath; proud grandmother of Sheila (Carlos) Marksberry Abyazar, David (Allison) Murray, Michael ( Tammy) Murray, Timothy Clements, Christopher McGrath, Andrew McGrath, and her great-grandchildren, Jared (Katie), Hannah, Adalynn, Isaac, Laina, Jonathan, Carsyn, Eliza, Mackenzie, Charlotte, Rory, Alistair, Amber, Emma, and Landon; dear sister of Wayne Gatesman, Eva Butterworth, and Clive Dobson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Lynn Murray; her great-grandson, Ethan; four siblings, Leslie Kelly, Brian Gatesman, Carol Palmer, and Wendy Fryer; and her son-in-law, Howard Clements.

Pat was a WWII bride and came to the United States of America after the war. She was a longtime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Milford, a member of Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association (a club for UK immigrants and families living in the U.S.). She loved travelling, bowling, golf, and playing cards.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 12 NOON at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH, where family and friends will be received from 10 AM until the hour of service.
