Paul Edward Correll

Paul Edward Correll of Batavia, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the age of 90. Paul was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1933 to the late Robert E. and Emily E. Correll.

Paul is survived by his children, Deborah (Michael) Cornelius, Paul (Doris) Correll, and Beverly (Steve) Oaks, seven grandchildren, Tony Cornelius, Heather Cornelius, Joseph Nicholas Correll, Cynthia Correll, Jennifer Correll, Steve Oaks, and Adam Oaks, 10 great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Correll, Paige Correll, Joseph Correll, Caleb Correll, Gabriel Correll, Benjamin Correll, Alysia Busch, Kylee Massey, Austin Lippmeier, and Emily Lippmeier, one great-great-grandchild, Waylon Campbell, and two sisters, Patsy Alexander and Bonnie Staus.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley M. Correll and eight siblings, Arnold Correll, Dora-Dodie Steel, Oscar Correll, Ernie Correll, Richard Correll, Robert Correll, Genevieve Correll and Frank Correll.

Known for his generosity and loving spirit, Paul was always excited to spend time with his family and friends. He was so proud of the children. He was a man of faith and a tremendous teacher of the Gospel for many years. Paul loved God, his family, and his church.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, Ohio 45150, where the Southwest Ohio V.F.W. Memorial Team will perform Military Honors at 7 PM.

A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 11 AM at the Growing Place Church, 3728 Floral Ave., Norwood, Ohio 45212.

Interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, Ohio.
