Raymond William Reidel

Raymond William Reidel Miamiville, Ohio – age 84, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on December 26, 2021. He was known by many as “The President”, as he was the founder and President of his company, Ridge Transmissions, Inc. a premier automotive transmission repair shop near Pleasant Ridge, Ohio. Ray was born on January 6, 1937, to Raymond Paul and Mary Irene Reidel. Ray enjoyed playing golf, traveling with friends, and riding his motorcycles. He attended St. Gertrude Grade School and graduated from Purcell High School. He will be deeply missed by his family including his wife, Billie Ann, and children Raymond H. Reidel (Sally), Robert L. Reidel (Janet), David M. Reidel and Carrie L. Crook (Damon), 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Dorothy, a brother Lawrence J. Reidel, and a grandson Raymond Michael “Mike” Reidel. Services will be limited to immediate family. A celebration of life will take place this Summer, when we can enjoy the outdoors together, just as Ray loved.
