Recca Ramona Woods

Recca (nee Stephens) WOODS, age 76, of Batavia, passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2008 with her family by her side. She was the cherished wife of William Woods for 57 years, devoted mother of Michael (Karen) and Patrick (Barbara) Woods of Florida, Greg and Eric (Kelly) Woods of Batavia, Jeffry (Gloria) Woods of Milford, and Jane (Chris) Young of West Chester, proud and adoring grandmother of twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, and dear sister of George W. Stephens and Joan Lewis. Recca loved to sing and was a member of the Forestaires and most recently the Jubilant Singers. A memorial service to honor her memory will be Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at 1:30 PM, at Batavia Presbyterian Church, 277 North St, Batavia, 45103. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be directed to the church.
