Regina Catron

Regina (nee Berger) Catron of Brown County, Ohio passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born to the late Matthew and Louise (nee Dufau) Berger on June 19, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Regina is survived by her loving children: Georgetta (Tom) Deisch of Midland, Ohio, Doug (Tonya) Catron of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Marla Catron of Amelia, Ohio, Wayne (Sheryl) Catron of Hebron, Kentucky, and Chris (Kelly) Catron of Bethel, Ohio; her adored grandchildren: Justin, Zach, Ben, Lori, Lindsey, Brian, Sam, Jacob, Darla, Bobby, Jenna, Heather, Eli, and Savannah. Along with her twenty great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and her caring siblings: Agnes Houck of St. Martin, Ohio, and Kenny Berger of Newtonsville, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Catron; son, Joe Catron, daughter-in-law, Patricia Catron, six brothers, and 4 sisters.

Regina was a member of St. Angela Merici Parish in Fayetteville, Ohio. She was active in the Bereavement Committee, took care of the Grotto, she was in charge of the Sacristan and Ceremonial equipment, and was a member of the Ladies Sodality. She loved to travel the Smokey Mountains with her late husband, and gardening.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 10:00 am at the St. Angela Merici Parish – St. Patrick Chapel located at 130 Stone Alley, Fayetteville, Ohio 45118. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ohio. Father Tom Bolte officiating.
