Richard "Rick" Barker Sr.

Richard “Rick” Barker Sr. of Sardinia, Ohio formerly of Liberty, Kentucky passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the age of 58. He was born to the late Vernon Barker and Myrtle (nee Hackney) Barker on June 13, 1964, in West Liberty, Kentucky.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years Carol (nee Luckett) Barker of Cincinnati, Ohio; his loving children Richard Barker Jr. of Sardinia, Ohio, Crystal Lingar of Hamilton, Ohio, and Desiree Barker of Sardinia, Ohio; his adored grandchildren Kaylynn Lingar of Hamilton, Ohio, Nicholas Lingar of Sardinia, Ohio, Brandon Lingar of Georgetown, Ohio, Tabatha Lingar of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, Izabelle Lingar of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, Miles Barker of Sardinia, Ohio, and Bradley Lingar of Hamilton, Ohio; his caring sister Cynthia Stanley of Sardinia, Ohio; along with his niece Elizabeth (Brendan) Wilkin of Hillsboro, Ohio, and nephew Aaron Stanley of Amelia, Ohio.

Rick enjoyed fishing and the great outdoors.

Funeral Services will be held at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 1:00 pm; family and friends will be received beginning at 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Mt. Orab Cemetery. Talmadge Hackney Jr. officiating.
