Richard Loflin

Richard Michael Loflin, 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Born in High Point, North Carolina, in 1949 to Annie Griffin Loflin and Conrad Loflin, Richard was raised by a loving family. From a young age, he demonstrated dedication and leadership, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He remained highly active in his community, excelled academically, and went on to graduate from Wake Forest University. Richard enjoyed a successful career in sales with Procter & Gamble before channeling his entrepreneurial spirit into founding his own water filtration business, WateRx Corp. Outside of his professional life, Richard was an avid weight lifter and a passionate sports enthusiast. He made countless lifelong friends on the handball court, where his competitive spirit and warm personality truly shone. His greatest joy, however, was his family. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Deborah; his children, Derek and Charlotte (Jeff); and his cherished granddaughter, Renata.
