Richard Albert Murphy

Richard Albert Murphy, age 89, passed away quietly on June 7, 2007. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Mr. Murphy was a WWII veteran, member of the 319th Bomb Squad, and the 90th Bomb Group earning a Purple Heart and Air Medal. After his military career, he became a postal worker to support his family. His hobbies included raising orchids, astronomy, amateur radio and playing golf. He is reunited with his cherished wife Ruth Florence (nee Martin) Murphy, and leaves behind his dear sons Richard and Dennis, both of Cincinnati, and his three grand children. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
