It was Ralph Waldo Emerson that said "Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Traveling involves far more than planes and cars, much more than hiking mountains and crossing oceans. Travel is much more the journey than it is the destination. Dick had an amazing journey while on this earth. Dick was a kind and gentle husband to his loving wife Karen. He was a son to his beloved mother and father, Larry and Elvera Radford. A trickster and joker of a brother to Lynne (Rick) Hays, and Betty (Kevin) Fox, a loving father to Trey, Rob and Taryn. He was known as "The World Famous Uncle Dick" to his niece and nephew Kate (Alex) Grimm and Jake Fox. His two stepchildren, Steve and Stephanie (Jonathan) will remember him as a unique individual. Four grandchildren, Laura, Magdalena, Isabella, and Austin will remember him for his love of books, words, and creativity. A lover of nature, all animals, water and things that grow he leaves a legacy . A private burial will take place. Please join the family for a celebration of life February 18th 2-4pm at 1113 Glen Echo Drive. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Hospice of Cincinnati; P.O.
