Robert "Bob" D. Long

Robert “Bob” D. Long of Loveland, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the age of 89 years old. He was born in Blanchester, OH to the late Joseph and Dorothy Long.

Bob was the beloved husband of the late Carol L. Long, loving father of Mark (Cheryl) Long, Diana (Gary) Ray, Gwen (Alan Schadler) Kroeger, and Kevin (Aimee) Long, affectionate grandfather of Chris (Rosie), Stefanie (John), Kyle (Angelynn), Ryan (Monica), Taylor, Payton, Karson, and his great-grandchildren, Michael, Cannon, Josie, Allie, Landen, Archer, Lena, and Carissa, dear brother-in-law to Vernon “Butch” Sluder.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Sluder.

Bob’s life revolved around his kids and above all else he always put his family first. Bob and Carol were high school sweethearts who brightened each other’s lives every day during their 56 years of marriage. They were business partners for 30 years at Long’s Country Store. Bob was a lifelong resident of Milford and the surrounding areas, graduating from Milford High School in 1952.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Megie Funeral Home and Crematory – Craver Chapel, 529 Main St., Milford, OH at 12 NOON, where family and friends will be received from 10 AM until the hour of service. Committal Service will immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Pastor Bill Rillo will be officiating.
