Robert E. Hardy

HARDY, Robert E. of Mt. Orab, Ohio. Loving father of Jimmy Hardy of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Rick "Duck" Hardy of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Bobby (Becky) Hardy of Lufkin, Texas; dear grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (nee Fields) Hardy and his parents, Howard and Betty (nee Kidd) Hardy. Mr. Hardy lived in Mt. Orab, Ohio for 55 years and served in the Merchant Marines. He loved fishing, golf and was known as "Hijacker" on the CB Radio. Passed Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the age of 80. Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Megie Funeral Home, 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial Mt. Orab Cemetery.
