Luecke Birthdate: September 26, 1941 Went Home: July 9, 2022 Good afternoon… Robert L. “Bobby”, beloved and dedicated husband to the late Marge Hill, and son of the late George and Albertine Luecke. Dear brother to Larry Luecke, Marilyn Reece of Tennessee and to the late Donald E. Luecke, Sr. and brother-in-law to Arlene Luecke. Grateful for renewed love and time spent with his son Jeffrey Simpson (Kathy), his granddaughters and grandson-in-law Mary Bunnell (Josh) and Liz Simpson and his great-grandson Owen Bunnell. Caring stepfather to David Hill and step grandfather to David’s children. Dedicated and loving uncle to Angela Owen of Florida and Don (Mary Bollmann) Luecke, Jr. of Fairfax. Caring and loving uncle to Tonya (Eddie) Speers, Cynthia (Billy) Ramsey, Steve (Debbie) Luecke. Great uncle to the late Cameron Luecke, Stasie (Chris) Cole, Ella Ramsey, Ethan Ramsey, Brody Ramsey, Taylor Luecke. Great-great uncle to Jack Cole. Loving neighbor as family to Alton and Peggy Kersker, their son Steve (Angie), their daughter Jennifer (Scott) Lang and grandson Bobby named after Robert. Dear friend to Carson Shelton and is survived by many friends and distant relatives. Passed away peacefully July 9, 2022 at the age of 80. Robert was a long time resident of Fairfax, Ohio from childhood. He began his career with Harry and Carl Automotive and eventually ended at Courtesy Chevrolet. He was an outstanding and talented auto body technician for decades. His love of all things cars, trains and movies will forever be with him. Robert never knew a stranger and enjoyed sitting on his porch in his latter years waving “hello” to passersby. He is well known for greeting others with “good afternoon” no matter what time of day. Robert will be deeply missed. Please remember “Bobby” as a kind, sometimes shy, humorous soul. Rest in peace. Appreciation goes to the Fairfax Fire Department and Fairfax Police Department, Frisch’s Mainliner and the Fairfax neighbors who cared and loved him. At Robert’s request, respectfully no service will be held.
