Robert Hutchins Matchette

Robert Hutchins Matchette, loving husband of Patricia (Witherell) Matchette, devoted father of Eric Stowell Matchette of Cincinnati and Cynthia Webster Matchette, and dear grandfather of Lydia Dawes Hynson, both of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, July 14, 2007, age 83. Preceded in death by his parents, Eric Gordon and Aline Hutchins Matchette, brother The Rev. Richard Gordon Matchette and sister Marie Matchette. He graduated from Norwood High School and Indiana University and served in the Navy during WWII, and was a Manufacturers' Agent for juvenile furniture products for over 30 years. A longtime Mariemont resident, he was a member of and head usher at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 2 at St. Thomas Church at 3:00pm.
