Robert Albert Rothan

Robert A. Rothan, age 81, passed away surrounded by his family on October 22, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Corinne (nee Schlechty) Rothan, loving dad of Brenda (Larry) Harvey, Darlene Owens, and Barbara (George) Wager, dear step-dad of Charlene Putt, Darlene (Jim) Grueninger, Doreen (Jim) Taylor, and Pauline (Rick) Smith, proud grandpa of Laurel (Grant)Schuchmann, Shaun (Kristy)Wager, Bryan (Dawn) Owens, Eve (Eric)Harvey, and caring great-grandpa of Keira Schuchmann, Amelia Schuchmann , and Elliot Fugate. He will also be greatly missed by numerous family, friends, and his 2 very special dogs, Grant and Sherman. Mr. Rothan was a longtime member of the Eastside Christian Church and volunteered for many years on the Milford/Miami Twp. Life Squad. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood A. and Viola M. (nee Ante) Rothan and his wife Polly (nee Tucker) Rothan. Family and friends will be received Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Craver Riggs Funeral Home, Milford. Funeral services will take place Friday, October 28 at 10 AM at the Eastside Christian Church, 5874 Montclair Blvd., Milford, Ohio 45150. If desired, family requests memorial contributions be directed to the Eastside Christian Church in Mr. Rothan's honor.
