Robert 'Smitty' Lee Smith

Robert L. "Smitty" Smith, age 69, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2018. He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Rochella "Shelly" (nee' Blake) Smith, loving father of Alicia (Rodney) Abbott, Whitney L. Smith, and Jacob L. (Michelle) Smith, proud grandpa of Christopher Hacker, Lily Abbott, and Cole Abbott, dear brother of Peggy (Jim) Lyons, Connie Meade, and Nori (Greg) Thorton. Mr. Smith will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Smitty was the former owner of The Way We Were Antique Shop in the East End, The Creekstone Antique shop in Milford, retired from FedEx, and is a retired member of the Iron Horsemen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Smith, Zelda and Bob Rust and his 4-legged fur baby Maggie May. A Visitation will take place on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Craver Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, 529 Main St., Milford, OH with a Graveside Service immediately following at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford. If desired, family requests memorial contributions be directed to the funeral home to offset the expenses of the services.
