Rodney 'Hot Rod' Castle

Rodney “Hot Rod” Castle of Fayetteville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the age of 68.  He was born to Robert and Gertrude (nee Hampton) Castle on December 30, 1951 in Paintsville, Kentucky.

Rodney is survived by his loving children Adam Castle of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Jason (Megan) Castle of Germantown, Ohio, Vanessa Castle of Longwood, Florida, Tim McCreay of Fayetteville, Ohio, and Joyce McCreay of Sidney, Ohio; his adoring grandchildren AJ, Nicole, Jacob, Eric, Eli, Samuel, Eliza, Corena, and Gabby; his caring siblings David Castle of Paintsville, Kentucky, Debbie Butcher of Paintsville, Kentucky, Phillip (Eunice) Castle of Paintsville, Kentucky, and Diana (Rick) Spradlin of Paintsville, Kentucky.

Rodney was retired from General Electric, he was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer.  He loved to play his guitar and loved to collect and work on cars.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice St., Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.  Family and friends will be received beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service.  Interment will follow at St. Martin Cemetery.  Jim Krusling officiating.
