Roy W. Arn of Georgetown, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Villa of Georgetown surrounded by his loving family, he was 96 years old. Roy was born to the late Alvin and Edna (nee Waters) Arn of February 15, 1926, in Sardinia, Ohio. Roy is survived by his loving children William (Sue) Arn of Georgetown, Ohio, Sandy (Steve) Hayden of Georgetown, Ohio, Barbara (Jeff) Wallace of Bethel, Ohio, and Jamie (David) Mason of Georgetown, Ohio; his cherished grandchildren Andy, Emily, Brian, Seth, Chris, Andrea, Justin, Nathan, Ali, Sarah, Jessi, Stephen, Libby, and Luke; and his 42 adored great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Roy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 72 years Mary (nee Cochran) Arn, and one sister. Roy served in the United States Navy during the World War II conflict, he was a former Georgetown Council Member. He was also a long time Barber in the Georgetown and drove a School Bus for the local school. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at St. George Church located at 509 East State Street, Georgetown, OH 45121 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Megie Funeral Home located at 104 Spice Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm. Burial will follow Mass at St. Mary Cemetery, Arnheim, Ohio. Father Frank Amberger officiating.
