Ruth E. Lanner

Lanner, Ruth E (nee Storch) passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the age of 95. She is survived by her loving children: David (Shirley) Lanner, Gerry (Carol) Lanner, and Wendy Rossen; grandchildren: Michael (Tiffany) Lanner, Emily Lanner, Benjamin Rossen and Daniel Rossen; and great grandchildren: Kameron Fetters, Lily Lanner, Nicholas Lanner and Hayden Lanner. Ruth served proudly as a WAVE in the military. She was previously the president of Wyoming and Terrace Park Garden Clubs and an avid member of the Ohio Valley Quilters Guild and Kenwood Womens Club. Twice her quilts were featured at the Chatfield College Quilt show. She and her late husband Arthur were antique enthusiasts and loved exhibiting and wheeling and dealing at antique shows. They enjoyed a period as farmers on an Adams County Farm and enjoyed extensive car touring through the Midwest and New England. If desired, memorial donations in Ruth�s name may be made to some of her favorite charities: NKOA (Neediest Kids of All), Doctors Without Borders or Habitat for Humanity. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, 4:30pm at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory. Following the service, family and friends are welcome to stay and share memories and fellowship.
