Ruth L. Megie

MEGIE, Ruth Louise (née Shively) of Sycamore Township, OH. Beloved wife of Ohmar "Ogie" Megie; loving mother of Janice (Mike) Flaig and the late Jim A. Megie; caring grandmother of Heather L. Megie and Molly A. (James) Poppaw; dear great-grandmother of Rylynn, Joey, Emma and Samantha.

Mrs. Megie passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at the age of 78. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Iva Dorothy (née Pieper) Shively.

Mrs. Megie was a member of the O.E.S. Cardinal Chapter 140 in Sharonville. She was a lifetime member of Brecon United Methodist Church.

Friends received 5-7:30 PM Sunday, January 3, 2015 at Brecon United Methodist Church, 7388 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249, with O.E.S. service at 7:30 PM. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, January 4, 2015 at the church. Burial Hopewell Cemetery, Montgomery, OH.
