Sally A. Coriell

Sally Ann (Rielage) Coriell passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at seventy-nine years of age. Sally was born June 17, 1944 to Charles and Florence Rielage of Cincinnati, Ohio. A 1962 graduate of St. Mary’s High School, she entered the workforce and raised a family in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was an administrative assistant for many years at various technical companies. After officially retiring many years ago, she was most recently employed with Foresee Plumbing running the office part-time.

Known for her generosity, independence and fun-loving spirit, Sally was always excited to spend time with family and friends. She was fiercely loyal and proud of her children and grandchildren and was happiest watching them excel on the sports field and stage. She enjoyed laughing over a game with friends and reading books. Fishing, camping and traveling to the beach were highlights of her retirement years, and Christmas was not complete without her candies and hiding gift cards disguised in packages with cans of food and boxes of pudding mix.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents and oldest brother, Charles Rielage. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gerald Coriell of Cincinnati, Ohio; son, Donald Kessel and Sherrie Beaudrey of Cincinnati, Ohio; son, Dennis and Jen (Vastine) Kessel of Milford, Ohio; son, Darren and Karen (Butler) Kessel of Milford, Ohio; stepdaughter, Sherri (Coriell) and David Wolfe of McDermott, Ohio; stepdaughter, Tracey (Coriell) and Phil Tyree of Braidwood, Illinois; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as 2 brothers, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church in Indian Hill, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 10 am and service at noon.
