Sandra Harris Pyron, died on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Weldon, her daughter Courtney, and her parents Barbara and William Harris. Sandra is survived by her brother John, daughter Carla, her son Lindsey, and six grandchildren William, JC, and Dylan Pyron, Olivia and Lily Stephenson, and Jane Rose Pyron. She has one nephew Drew Harris.

Sandra grew up in Jackson, TN. She graduated high school and attended Nursing School in Memphis, TN where she met her husband Weldon at the Memphis State Fair at the nursing station. He gave her a ride home. They married in 1962 and moved to Cincinnati where Weldon had a residency in Pedondontics at Children's hospital. They built a home and lived 35 years in Wyoming, Ohio. Sandra took a break from nursing to raise her three children but returned to it later as a Geriatric Nurse.

They retired to Tellico Plains in 1995. Sandra fulfilled a lifelong dream of running a cabin rental business and a not for profit art gallery in town until about 12 years after the passing of her husband Weldon in 2006. Dedicated to serving others, she was active in her church and held/sponsored community events regularly. She returned to Cincinnati in 2018 to be closer to remaining family.

Friends and family are all encouraged to join us in celebrating her life Saturday, December 18th, 2021, 1:20-4:00, at St. Thomas Church in Terrace Park.
