Sonja Huxell

Sonja Huxell of Milford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026.

She was born on September 6, 1967, in Warrenton, Virginia, to Linda Campbell and the late William Campbell. Sonja graduated from Milford High School in 1985 and went on to earn her associate degree from the University of Cincinnati Dental Hygiene Program in 1989.

Sonja was a dedicated dental hygienist who took pride in caring for others. She cherished her family and her beloved pets, and those who knew her will remember her for the love she gave to both.

Above all, Sonja was a devoted mother and she leaves behind a loving family that will carry on her legacy. She is survived by her Husband of 36 years; Ken Huxell, her children; Alison, Andrew, and Steven Huxell, her mother; Linda Campbell, her sister; Leah (Devin) Lebsack, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family was at the heart of her life, and her love for them will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.

Sonja will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, dedication, and love will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and her memory will be cherished for years to come.

The visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 11:30 am, followed by the service from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm at the chapel at Graceland Memorial Gardens- 5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150, on September 9, 2026.
