Stanley Jordan

JORDAN Stanley Robroy �Robin�, 81, of Fayetteville, OH, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015. He was the devoted son of the late Clarence and Carrie Jordan, Beloved father to John Jordan, Elaine (Dewey) Courtright, Cindy (Ted) Wiesman, and the late Jimmy Jordan, Grandfather of Christopher (Johanne) Courtright, Kathryn (Isaac) Weiner and Sean Courtright, Great-grandfather of Kirby and Dominic Courtright and Carrie and Tessa Weiner, Dear brother of Shirley (Bill) Striblen and Mary James, and the late George Binkley, Phyllis Dean, Jim Jordan, Dick Jordan and Sid Jordan, Friend and brother-in-law of Lydia Jordan and the late Eloise Binkley, Harold Dean, Florence Jordan, Bob Dean and Joe James and also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Robin was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He worked at the General Electric Company in Evendale, OH starting in 1951, leaving for the Army, returning in 1953 until retirement in 1988. Robin was especially devoted to his son Jimmy, who lived at home with him in Fayetteville until January 2013. Jim went into a nursing home in Ripley at that time, but still received daily visits from Dad. His devotion to Jimmy was a large part of who Robin was. Friends and family are welcome Friday, January 9, 2015, 10:30 am until time of funeral service, 12 pm, with a Masonic service beginning at 11:30, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory, Milford.
